I am a technology and research consultant specialized in the area of ICT research. I am also interested in philosophy and innovation. My focus is on epistemology and the philosophy of technology. My other area of interest is in strategy for research and technology.


I am the founder and director of eutema, a technology and RTD strategy consultancy based in Vienna, Austria since 2001. My interview for whatchado explains what I am doing there (in German). Our activities range from research and studies in various areas of technology. We also create research and innovation strategies for companies, research institutes and the public sector. We are often involved in research projects and also proivde training on research-related work including research strategy and management.

Other interests

When time allows, I try to play the piano, cook, travel, study the arts (particular sculptures and Austrian contemporary art).

Together with my partner, I have a small, but comfortable Bed & Breakfast in Vienna called Rosa Linde:
